Well, I was one of those who always carried their cheap film camera everywhere on the family vacations and so... I've always enjoyed taking "pictures to look at later", so it was something I've liked for a while... But not much time before I joined dA, my brother bought a compact digital camera, and I managed to use it every once in a while... A friend told me about this site, and after I created my account and started browsing around it was impossible not to be inspired!
2) When chatting in dAmn, what three things would you recomend to new people?
Well, the very basic thing is to read the rules! I know it sounds obvious, or maybe some people think "there are too many to read"... But it saves you from a lot of trouble and also helps you get used to the chat environment easier... The second advice would be not to provide too much personal information. With time you'll know who you can and can't trust, but the truth is that you never know who's on the other side of the computer! There are notes to talk to your friends, and you can create your own private room... But please keep in mind that you should be careful with what you say, and where. Last, but really not least... Respect others. You probably don't know most of the people you talk to that well, so easy on the "jokes". Also, if a moderator of a room, or an MN@ admin tells you that you shouldn't do something, it's better that you listen to them, yes?
3) What music does <a title="isabelucha" href="[link]>Miss Blu most like to listen to when she is deviantARTing?
Well, a bit from everything, really. It just depends on the mood, right now I'm listening to Phil Collins but I hear everything from House music to Rock, New Age, Electronic... Anything except Trance and Metal.
4) Many of us may know by now that you have a big passion for cookies. Why cookies?
Cookies... I think this started like some sort of joke, because I often eat cookies while I'm on the computer - they're easy to take anywhere, they're tasty and make me happy. So I guess I've told people way too many times that I was eating cookies at a certain time... And they see it as my addiction
5) What was the first piece of Digital Art you
I really have no idea about that, so I think that
was one of them... Besides being just beautiful, it has this dreamy and unreal feeling to it, a great palette of colours and... That's very, very appealing to me!6) Imagine you could be +spyed for a day, what would you do to the site?
Considering that I have no experience at all with the sort of things he does... I'd probably just sit by dA's servers eating cookies and taking pictures of them
7) Do you enjoy reading and, if so, do you feel the literature you read reflects the sort of art you like (i.e. is it reflective, happy, tense)?
Oh yes, that's for sure! I'm quite a positive person and I like to share pictures that are more than just somehow good to stare at, I like to share stories and thoughts through them... So I guess that should explain why I like romances and dreamy fairytales when it comes to books!
8) Any up and coming projects / featured events you can tell us all the secrets about?
Well, on an MN@ note I think I can mention the featured chats similar to the one with Mark Wilkinson's chat... On a personal note, I've been thinking about running a photography contest and/or a community project, but I've been procrastinating about them for a while, now... Let's see if I manage to get them up and running any time soon!
