I hate these boring group names, can I change them?
Yes, groups can be renamed to your own theme of choice. To do this,
simply type /admin rename privclass Groupname to Groupname .
For example: /admin rename privclass Founders to TopDogs
Please avoid calling your Operator / Founder privclasses 'admins' or
'staff' as this has caused confusion with MN@ in the past.
Can I add my own groups in?
Yes, you can create as many of your own groups as you wish. To create
a group type /admin create privclass Groupname . For example:
/admin create privclass DemiGods
I don't really like the order of my group, can I change the order?
There are two ways that you can change the order of your groups. The
first would be to rename the groups in the right order. But this is
pretty laborious and lengthy. Instead, type the following: /admin
update privclass Groupname order=#
Hang on... What does all that mean?
All groups in a chatroom are ordered on a numerical basis from 1-99.
One denotes the lowest group (this will appear right at the bottom)
and 99 the highest (this will appear at the top). The default
settings go as thus:
Banned = 1
Guests = 25
Members = 50
Operators = 75
Founders = 99
So, to put the guests above the members for example, type the
following: /admin update privclass Guests order=52 .
I've got a number of groups that I created, I don't know what order
they're in. How can I find this out?
This is a really handy tip and makes editing rooms very quick. Type
/admin show privclass . A popup box will appear listing all the
group names, their privileges and the numerical order they are
in. You can then edit the group orders with ease (NB: each time you
make a change, you will need to retype the command, the box does not
I don't want my topic / title to be present. Can I remove it / them?
Yes. type /topic or /title followed by a space. This will
remove your title and topic completely.
What do all those bits mean in the Chatroom Settings / privclass box?
Those 'things' in the chatroom settings and privclass box are parameters. If something is set to +, people in that group can use that function, if it is set to -, they cannot. The different parameters are below:

+avatars -avatars (avatars refer to user icons)
+emoticons -emoticons (emoticons refer to the emoticons such as
+images -images (images refer to images that use the <img src code)
+kick -kick (this refers to whether someone in a group can kick another user out)
+msg -msg (this refers to a privclass' ability to send messages)
Objects are not used.
+promote / +demote (this refers to whereabouts someone can promote or demote to. For example, typing /admin update privclass Operators promote=75 means that they could promote up to Operators, but no higher)
+smilies -smilies (smilies refer to the smilies like and )
+thumbs -thumbs (thumbs refer to images posted using the :thumb####: code)
+topic / title -topic / title (the topic and title refer to the dark / light grey areas at the top of the channel)
+websites -websites (websites refer to ability to use the <iframe code)
As the room founder, can I admin from any group?
